Fiestas in Sant Ferran
From the 27th to the 31st of May.
The Fiestas of Sant Ferran will begin next Saturday, May 27th. There will be children entertainment as from 7 p.m., followed by a concert by Free Burning, Jay Kaye Band and Miquel, Dennis & Cia.
On Sunday morning the 9th Duatló Illa de Formentera will take place and as from 6 p.m. the X Festival Folklòric Mare Nostrum featuring performances by Grup de Danses la Farandola de l'Escala (Catalunya) and Colles de Formentera.
On Monday night, there will be a DJ party, starting at 10.30 p.m.
The day of the patron Saint, Tuesday, May 30th, will include a Gastronomy Market selling local goods, the traditional mass at twelve noon, procession, folk dances by Es Xacoters and popular paella for everybody. The day will end with a performance by the orchestra Traffic.
The last event of the programme, a story-reading session, will take place on Wednesday, May 31st, in the Library of Sant Ferran.
