Formentera at the Grācia neighbourhood of Barcelona
Traditional dance, conference, gastronomy and rock concert.
Formentera will star in the celebration that will take place next Saturday, March 25 in the Grācia neighbourhood of Barcelona, organised by the Comissiķ de Festes de Santa Maria and the Colles de Cultura Popular de Grācia.
The programme of activities will begin at 5.30 p.m. with a street parade by the Colles de Cultura Popular de Grācia leaving from the Rius i Taulet square. At 6p.m. in the Nord square there will be traditional dances by groups from Formentera. And at 7.30p.m. in the Lluīsos de Grācia chapel, Formentera chronicler Santiago Colomar will give the lecture "De la prehistōria fins l'actualitat" (From the prehistory to present). Finally, as from 8.30p.m., in the Nord square, there will be gastronomy show featuring typical food from Formentera and a concert by the rock bands from the islands Endčmiks and Pota Lait.
